Privacy Policy - the basics

Client Acknowledgements & Disclosures

By approving any shade, film, wrap, tint or paint protection film (PPF) installation with Haus of Skinz, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  1. Choice of Shade / Final Sale: The Client selects the specific color, shade, transparency or finish for wraps, films or tints and acknowledges that once the installation is complete, the sale is final. Haus of Skinz is not liable for dissatisfaction with the selected shade once installation has been approved by the Client and completed.

  2. Margin of Contamination: The Client understands and accepts that during installation, minor imperfections such as bubbles, edge lift, micro-dust particles or slight film variances may occur. A margin of up to 5% contamination (by area or film processing) is reserved and accepted by the Client. Haus of Skinz reserves the right to deem such minor defects within acceptable industry tolerance and is not liable for corrective costs beyond this threshold.

  3. Legal Tint Disclosure & Client Responsibility: Haus of Skinz provides the Client with information on the applicable legal window-tint limits in Florida, including that front side windows must allow at least 28% visible light transmission (VLT), back side windows at least 15% VLT for sedans (and 6% for SUVs/vans) and that tint on a windshield may only be placed above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line.  The Client selects their desired tint film and acknowledges that Haus of Skinz is not liable for legal infractions, fines or compliance enforcement; the Client accepts full responsibility for ensuring the final installation complies with local or state laws.

  4. Future Removal / Vehicle Alterations Disclosure: The Client understands that removal or alteration of any installed wrap, tint or PPF in the future (by Haus of Skinz or another installer) may cause damage to the vehicle’s paint, glass, trim or film. The Client releases Haus of Skinz from liability for any damage, cost or aesthetic change resulting from future removal, replacement, modification or other work of the film, wrap or tint.
